Right way of drinking water

  • Drink water sip by sip not at once, this will help saliva go inside the stomach.
    • Reasoning: Gastric Juices are acidic with pH level of around 1.5 to 3.5. Saliva is basic with pH level of around 6.5 to 7.5. Drinking water sip by sip helps in balancing the pH level in body.
  • Drink water first thing in the morning even before brushing the teeth.
  • Not to drink water 15 minutes before and 30 minutes after meal. It helps in digestion.
  • Avoid chilled water, if at all, have cold water from earthen pot instead of fridge water.
